| History | This watch was ordered by the Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (1919-1980) for the officers of the Iranian Royal Army in 1970. These watches were only given to some of the officers of the Iranian Royal Army, many of whom were dismissed or executed following the overthrowing of the Shah during the Iranian Revolution in 1979. Very few of these watches survive today. |
